I created this blog many months ago and have several drafts, but have made no posts. The little voice in my head is saying post, post, post, it is time. Of course when it is time to post, I got nothin. Although in my dream last night I wrote a brilliant novel, upon waking it was gone, this is my burden, someone please tell me how to record my dreams while I'm sleeping!

I have decided to remove the stress of posting brilliant and to write my observations of life.

I have of late mused on our capacity as humans to love, while our brains are highly functional, it is our emotions that rule us as animals. It is our ability to love that truly sets us apart from all other species, our ability to feel is what makes us human. Think about it, people without the ability to feel, we are often referred to as animals or inhuman, compassion for others, a conscience, the ability to defer right from wrong, and the ability to love, these are the elements that create a human being. Some would argue the ability to reason, problem solving, and a highly functional brain are what set us apart. But, I beg to differ.

It is the fulfillment of the senses and emotional psyche that creates emotional attachment, it is with emotional attachment that we create lives worth living. We have the capacity as humans to fall in love with people we have never seen, we can love a sense of humor, we can love the way a person thinks, we can create an emotional attachment that has nothing to do with survival, nothing to do with basic needs, nothing to do with anything, other than a simple feeling of love. And that simple feeling can change everything about our lives, EVERYTHING. The one thing that most people fail to recognize is that our ability to love, articulate our love, and share our love welds more power than any other force in our existence. The simple act of sharing love, kind words, hugs, kisses, appreciation, and focusing on the positive can and does change peoples lives, everyday. And this power is within all of us. I speak the truth -

Now those of you that know me might read this and laugh because it's all mushy and sentimental and just plain disgusting, but the reality is you know I'm right and I know I'm right, but like most of us I forget. Love never runs out, there is always more and enough for everyone, we just forget sometimes.

So run out and get your love on people.
